Introduction

Our Commitment

Inkrootz Hub LLP ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal data responsibly. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights in relation to it. This policy applies to all users of our website and platform.

Compliance

We operate in compliance with the Information Technology Act 2000, the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules 2011, and, where applicable, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDP Act). By using our platform, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in this policy.

Information We Collect

Personal Information You Provide

When you create an account or place an order, we collect the following personal information: full name, email address, phone number, and delivery address(es). This is the only personal data Inkrootz Hub LLP stores on its own systems. We do not collect or store any payment instrument details — all payment processing is handled exclusively by our third-party payment gateway partners.

Payment Information

Inkrootz Hub LLP does not collect, store, or have access to any payment information. When you make a purchase, you are redirected to or interact directly with our payment gateway partner's secure interface. Card numbers, CVV, UPI PINs, net banking credentials, and wallet details are handled entirely by the gateway and are governed by their privacy policy. We receive only a transaction status (success or failure) and a masked payment reference.

Transaction Data

We maintain records of your orders including products purchased, order value, payment method type (e.g., "UPI", "Card" — not the actual details), shipping address, delivery status, returns, and refunds. This is necessary for order fulfilment, customer support, and legal compliance.

Automatically Collected Information

When you use our platform, we automatically collect: IP address, browser type and version, device type and operating system, pages visited and time spent, and click interaction data. This is used solely to improve our platform and personalise your experience.

Communications

If you contact our customer support, we retain records of that correspondence — emails, chat transcripts, and call recordings (where applicable) — to help us resolve issues and improve our service.

Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to recognise your browser or device, keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and collect usage data. See the Cookies section below for more detail.

How We Use Your Information

Order Fulfilment

Your name, email, phone number, and delivery address are used to process your orders, arrange third-party logistics pickup and delivery, send order and shipping confirmations, and handle returns and refunds.

Account Management

Your information is used to create and manage your account, authenticate your identity, and provide access to your order history, wishlist, and account settings.

Customer Support

We use your information to respond to your queries, resolve disputes, and provide assistance with your orders and account.

Marketing & Personalisation

With your consent, we may use your name, email, and phone number to send you promotional emails, SMS, and push notifications about new arrivals, offers, and personalised recommendations. You may opt out at any time via the unsubscribe link in emails or through your account notification settings.

Platform Improvement

We analyse usage data to understand how customers interact with our platform, identify bugs, and improve product listings, navigation, and the overall shopping experience.

Legal & Compliance

We may use your information to comply with applicable laws, respond to lawful requests from government authorities, enforce our Terms and Conditions, and protect the rights, property, and safety of Inkrootz Hub LLP, our customers, and third parties.

Fraud Prevention

We use automated and manual processes to detect and prevent fraudulent orders, chargebacks, and abuse of our platform.

Data Sharing & Disclosure

Third-Party Logistics Partners

All shipping and delivery is carried out by independent third-party logistics and courier partners. We share your name, phone number, and delivery address with these partners solely for the purpose of fulfilling your delivery. These partners are not authorised to use your information for any other purpose.

Payment Gateways

Inkrootz Hub LLP does not share payment information because we do not possess it. Payment transactions are conducted directly between you and our payment gateway partner. The gateway may receive your name and email for transaction verification purposes, governed by their own privacy policy.

Technology Providers

We work with third-party service providers for cloud hosting, email delivery, analytics, and customer support tools. These providers access your data only as necessary to perform services on our behalf and are bound by confidentiality agreements.

Legal Obligations

We may disclose your information to courts, law enforcement agencies, or regulatory authorities where required by law or in response to a valid legal request.

Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your personal data may be transferred to the acquiring entity. We will notify you via email or a prominent notice on our platform before your data becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

No Sale of Data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for their own marketing or commercial purposes.

Data Security

Security Measures

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect the personal data we hold — your name, email, phone number, and delivery address — against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These include SSL/TLS encryption for data in transit, encrypted storage at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews.

Payment Security

Inkrootz Hub LLP does not store any payment data. All payment transactions are processed entirely by our PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment gateway partners. We have no access to your card number, CVV, UPI PIN, or net banking credentials at any point.

Breach Notification

In the unlikely event of a data breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you and the appropriate regulatory authorities as required by applicable law, without undue delay.

Your Role

You are responsible for keeping your account password secure. Use a strong, unique password and do not share it with anyone. If you suspect your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at ${contactEmail}.

Data Retention

Retention Period

We retain your personal data (name, email, phone, address) for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. Order and transaction records are retained as required by Indian law — GST and accounting records must be maintained for a minimum of 8 years.

Account Deletion

If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 90 days, except where retention is required by law. Anonymised transaction records may be retained for analytics purposes.
